Business Description
Luxury living with positive impact – that’s the Native Trails promise. Our high quality kitchen fixtures, bathroom sinks, bathroom furniture, and handmade home decor make a grand visual impression with a small ecological footprint. We work with artisans around the world to handcraft our inspiring kitchen and bath products from natural, sustainable materials such as NativeStone™, recycled copper and reclaimed wood.

Each copper sink, copper bathtub, and copper range hood comes to life through thousands of hammer strikes by skilled coppersmiths; each reclaimed wood vanity and bamboo bathroom vanity is built to last, handmade by artisans who employ age-old traditions and craftsmanship. Our handmade NativeStone™ sinks are a breakthrough combination of natural jute fiber and cement, resulting in a material about 40 percent lighter than standard concrete, incredibly durable and resistant to cracking.

Native Trails’ sustainably made products can help earn points toward the USGBC’s LEED certification program, a recognized standard for measuring building sustainability in the United States and countries around the world. Native Trails sinks and copper bath tubs are UPC/cUPC certified, facilitating their use in all types of projects.

Nice ideas on paper, though like others I do wonder how practical they will be as implementation progresses, especially for private residences. One red flag for me was the idea that I would be required to invite strangers into my home once construction was complete.

I voted no to year round indoor use, but I'd make an exception for a temporary children's play space. I won't be draping them on the ficus anytime soon. Also, I don't have a ficus.

I like all the bathrooms shown in this article. That said, I have to say the last example, while it looks great has less of a farmhouse feel than the rest. The wallpaper, vanity and floor make it out out of place if they were going for the farmhouse feel. It is a beautiful bathroom though.
