Business Description
Luxury living with positive impact – that’s the Native Trails promise. Our high quality kitchen fixtures, bathroom sinks, bathroom furniture, and handmade home decor make a grand visual impression with a small ecological footprint. We work with artisans around the world to handcraft our inspiring kitchen and bath products from natural, sustainable materials such as NativeStone™, recycled copper and reclaimed wood.

Each copper sink, copper bathtub, and copper range hood comes to life through thousands of hammer strikes by skilled coppersmiths; each reclaimed wood vanity and bamboo bathroom vanity is built to last, handmade by artisans who employ age-old traditions and craftsmanship. Our handmade NativeStone™ sinks are a breakthrough combination of natural jute fiber and cement, resulting in a material about 40 percent lighter than standard concrete, incredibly durable and resistant to cracking.

Native Trails’ sustainably made products can help earn points toward the USGBC’s LEED certification program, a recognized standard for measuring building sustainability in the United States and countries around the world. Native Trails sinks and copper bath tubs are UPC/cUPC certified, facilitating their use in all types of projects.

Thank you Beth, but I live in Canada near the Toronto area. Can you tell what that type of wood is actually referred to as?

Hi dorrisch,

There is a small hole at the top for hanging - you can see it just at the top of the yellow design, very top of the plaque. The tile is fired, and made to withstand NY freezing weather.

Hope that helps. Happy Houzzing!

We have customers that put Copper sinks in their house, and swear they won't choose anything else for future renovations or houses. I live with one in my powder room. It's 10 years old, and still looks exactly as it did the day it was installed.

FrankieMC- I had a training webinar this morning on copper, and thought of you! I wanted to show you how the copper's patina naturally "heals" itself.

Hi charelli,
We wouldn't recommend using our tile coasters in a swimming pool, due to the cork backing that helps protect furniture, although they can certainly be used poolside.
Hope that helps. Happy Houzzing!

Hi shelisarae,

If you choose copper, you'll find it is amazingly easy to maintain! Hammered copper is particularly simple since it doesn't show fingerprints as stainless steel or shiny copper does. For basic cleaning simply use a mild soap and warm water. Keep your copper product clean and dry by wiping it down after each use with a soft cloth. Harsh abrasives or copper cleaners should never be used on our products as they may affect the finish. For extra protection, a product such as Flitz Faucet Wax+ may be applied.

But don't just take our word for it! Check out this previous houzz discussion, which may answer some of your questions. http://www.houzz.com/discussions/222719/Copper-sink----yes-or-no-

Hope that helps. Happy houzzing!

Have you considered copper?
If you don't like it, white or bisque would be better.

We sell Native Trails... if you ever have any questions on the quality and company. Also another good Copper option is Premier Copper Products. Their entire line is copper so they tend to offer a lot more options. Click below to window shop :)

Hi Michelle,

The 4" canister will fit q-tips, the 3" will not. on the photo, click on "more info" and when you get to the Copper Canister page, click on the 4" button. You will then be able to click on a photo of the canister with q-tips inside.

Hope that helps!
