Nicole Kistler Studio

Business Description
Interdisciplinary artist, Nicole Kistler, creates interactive art, site-specific integrated art, and landscapes that help deepen our relationship with the natural world. Whether that means creating a living playground for Oxbow Farm, or a floating island on the Duwamish River called the Living Barge, her work engages the imagination. She holds a Master’s in Landscape Architecture from the University of Washington, and has eight years experience managing large-scale public involvement, master planning and landscape design projects in the public realm besides her public art. Her work has received national recognition, with projects and shows in Washington, New York, and Arizona. She is the recipient of awards including an Artist Trust Gap Grant and NOAA’s Coastal America Award, and funding from 4Culture Site Specific, Neighbor-to-Neighbor Fund, Arizona State University, and the Cities of Seattle, WA and Tempe, AZ.
