    Ogawa Fisher Architects Hi,
I believe rubber floor tiles are around $6 - $7 per square foot for the material. We typically have the contractor supply the material and installation (including any necessary adhesives) but rubber floor tiles are available at showrooms and stores as well. The tiles are usually sold in packs of 20. I hope that helps!

    Ogawa Fisher Architects Hi,

the counter and integrated sinks are Corian. The cabinet was custom-designed by us for this particular project. I hope that helps - and that you can find something equally suitable for your needs!

Ogawa Fisher Architects That sounds wonderful! It sounds like you have ample space for a bifold door. If this bifold door also acts as your main point of entry, you'll also want a regular door at the end, so that you don't have to open the whole bifold mechanism to get in and out of your porch.

Many manufacturers now carry bifold doors and windows - this particular one is a bifold window by Loewen - so your choice will largely depend on available finishes and hardware, as well as price.

    Regards,
    Hiromi Ogawa

custom-tiles.com Helpful hint on tile/grout joint effect on tile installations - your 12x12 tile is probably NOT really 12x12, so if you want to figure accurately enough to size the installation including grout width: know that 'nominal' size (e.g., 12x12) is not the ACTUAL size. Ask or check written specifications for the actual size, try to find out what the average variance of tile size from this figure is. Tumbled tile typically varies the most due to the rounding and chipping at the edges. Tiles with larger variances from the 'average size' require a wider grout line to aid the installer in making adjustments to align the tiles.

cynthia2013 Is this lovely storage bench custom-built? If not, where is it available?
Ogawa Fisher Architects Yes, the storage bench was custom-built to fit the house and the owner's needs. Sometimes custom cabinets are not much more expensive than those available in stores, so I would recommend that you explore your options and see what suits you best.

Ogawa Fisher Architects Unfortunately, we do not have the paint color on file... we generally use the Benjamin Moore color palette, although any paint store will color match for you. Sorry I can't be more helpful!

Ogawa Fisher Architects Hi, the owners selected the paint colors, and we do not have them on file. It was a very light blue, with a hint of green. Sorry I can't help you more - my advice would be to do several large swatches in your room so you can see them in different areas at different times of the day, particularly. And of course it helps to tie the color in with other finishes, other room colors, and furniture.

Ogawa Fisher Architects Yes, this project was done with cork flooring throughout. The owners have liked it a lot, although the smooth surface (which is true of any pre-finished flooring material) makes it easier to see any dust and scratches. The rubber flooring is easy to clean, and I have not heard any complaints about smell. I hope that helps!

Ogawa Fisher Architects Have you tried a flooring showroom? Rubber flooring is typically available in stores that sell vinyl flooring and carpet. They should be able to sell to you directly. In addition to designers, contractors can also purchase rubber flooring through wholesale vendors. Good luck!
