Commented: how high to hang curtains? Hello, The longer panels will look best. Buy a nice rod and they will add height to the window. If you mount an inch above, the window will look short and it will be evident they are ready-made and not...

Commented: Can I have short curtains? Usually curtains that go to the sill are not grommet drapes. Your interior looks contemporary, I would suggest a roman shade if you don't want long drapes.

Commented: Kitchens window treatment Do you want something that would provide privacy or control the sun? If so, panels would look nice. I had a transom in my kitchen and used sheer fabric for the top of the drapes and a linen for the bottom....
