Beautiful chandelier, we bought the pillar candle one from Restoration Hardware but it got installed and we find the pillars way too yellow and our house has gray tones. The "candle" style glass on this one seems to be more white. Is it black iron?, bronze?

Marble will stain, scratch, and etch if exposed to acidic materials, although it will etch less if honed. Even with that, spills need to be cleaned up quickly. It's really a personal preference and what you are most comfortable with.

Love it, the industrial look can work!
We are more focused on contemporary kitchens, would these also work with a backdrop of industrial touches, such as the wood & brickwork, what would you suggest to make both work beautifully together?

It looks good as it is but for my test there is far too much wood. I'd add brikwork on the backdrop. Definetely.

Hi Linda, This kitchen is my inspiration as we build our home! It's just fabulous. I've quoted out custom cabinets, and want to paint them similar to this! Do you know much about the wear on custom painted cabinets vs the "baked on" paint of store bought ones? Curious if you have any tips for preservation! :)

Painted cabinets are preferable because you can select a more customized color than what is available in home improvement stores. The finish will last for a good amount of time depending on the level of use and traffic in the areas the cabinets will be installed in. Contact your preferred cabinet company for more advice on what type of finish is best for your home.
