Down to Earth landscaped my backyard beautifully. They took excellent care in building a lovely patio and walkway and cleaned and nicely prepared the over grown sections. They are true professionals at what they do.

Down to Earth Designs did a great job solving the drainage issues that Arroyo Custom Homes left us. They also installed pavers to extend our turnaround and designed the plantings for this area. Their design turned out great!

I needed a full workup on our irrigation system in our new house that had not been serviced in over 5 years. From the start of the conversation with Tonya, I felt like I had found the perfect company for me. She was easy to talk to, provided immediate follow up and quickly got us in the schedule. Mike B, the irrigation tech that was sent was really beyond fantastic. He was so thorough and treated our yard like it was his. The work required him to dig on my yard but he did such a great job you couldn't even tell he had been there. Early this year we asked Ben Case to come up with a landscaping design for our backyard. We wanted to remedy the drainage and erosion problems, while also improving the appearance of the entire yard. In April 2015 Down to Earth Designs did a fantastic job of planting geese-resistant sod, installing a natural-looking walkway, putting in effective drainage, and a beautiful planting area. We have gotten so many compliments since then. We would hire Down to Earth Designs, Inc. again with no hesitation, and we have recommended them many times.

i am happy to write an enthusiastic review of Down to Earth Designs. They have done several, large scale projects on my property and around my house. These have included pond-edge enhancement with plantings and boulders, a rock garden, and an extended patio/walkway area. Ben Case has designed these areas to be aesthetically pleasing as well as functional. His company provides a very high level quality of work, in both products (plants, boulders, patio stones) and in installation. Down To Earth Designs transformed our back yard into our favorite place to be. They came up with an incredible design that addressed multiple drainage issues, which had rendered our yard useless. We chose Down to Earth out of 5 landscape companies we interviewed in North Raleigh. Of all that we met, they were the only one's that really listened to specific needs and some special design requests. That made the difference and we rarely give 5 stars for anything. The design process helped us realize a direction we had not considered but chose for the final plan. We started with a general target budget to plan within, then once we narrowed down our choices they gave us complete estimates for all the different parts. This was to a phased approach but it the bullet and had them I stall all the same time. The install crews were pleasant and professional, always cleaning up the the end of the day. I know we made the right decision to have Ben and Dave handle our complicated project. It's refreshing to see customer service done right!
