Who We Are DbyD, Design By Donaghue began doing home renovations in 2010. Based in Sault Ste Marie they offer home improvements in the Algoma region. Every project: kitchens, bathrooms, additions or upgrades is not finished until you are fully satisfied. Since the beginning of our endeavours we have completed a wide variety of projects, and with all projects client satisfaction is always guaranteed. We strive to give you quality renovations that will last. DbyD offers Design consulting, as well as impeccable attention to all details needed to finish a project the homeowner will be proud of for years to come. DbyD tries to complete one project at a time, thereby adding focus and personal attention to every aspect of the project. The highest praise I can give Ritchie is that I've asked to come back in the Spring to do some exterior work once the weather clears. He helped me turn my fixer-upper into a home that I love. His work is top notch and comes within the estimated price. Richie has very creative ideas which are well executed. He focuses on details. We had a total kitchen gut where we did the demo ourselves and then hired D by D to complete drywall, painting, lighting, plumbing, and installation of our IKEA kitchen cabinets and floor. Ritchie over saw the entire project from start to finish and coordinated with another company for the electrical and plumbing work. He was wonderful to work with and truly cares about his clients being satisfied with the work. I will be calling D by D again for any future renovation work we need to do. My whole family loves this clean, bright space.

I hired Mr. Donaghue to do the tiling in my custom-built shower stall. This was not a simple job as their were many awkward angles and small/intricate areas to be covered, but Mr. Donaghue did an excellent job! I was thoroughly impressed by the finished product. He was also very professional and left my bathroom just as clean as it was when he started working. I would hire him again for my next project in an instant!

D by D did a fabulous job finishing my house. Very pleased with the slate work done on my fireplace mantle, bathroom/shower and foyer. My beams in the vaulted ceiling were finished with the same hardwood as on the floor producing an excellent result. All trim matched the modern look of my open concept Great room. I found D by D to be easy to work with and very capable of producing tailored work to suit the look needed and without busting the bank.
