Jajon2 is that brick on the exterior? And did you paint it?
Sicora, Inc. The texture on the house that you see is cement board shake siding.... If you are referring to the chimney, that is indeed brick, but it is not painted.

baynedialogues Can you identify the style of my house? It is stucco and was built in the early twentieth century.
Steven Corley Randel, Architect Looks most similar to an asymmetrical, early Colonial revival with full-width front porch. The stucco wall finish is uncommon on this style, but depending on where the house is located, it may have been used due to local custom. The off-centered front entrance could be an influence left over from Victorian era houses which preceded the popularity of the Colonial revival. Looks like a very nice place! Hope that helps. SCR

cjprater The main field color is Copley Gray HC-104 by Benjamin Moore. The trim is Elephant Tusk OC-8, also by Benjamin Moore. Note the garage door is also painted the main field color.

janae66 It's Ben Moore, Midsummer night. We had Shirwin Williams color match it and it turned out great! It's a real rich dark brown.

Sicora, Inc. Thanks for doing that, Janae.... The house has an aluminum soffit and fascia installed so I never did get a Ben Moore equivalent for that color. Glad to hear that yours turned out well!

Sicora, Inc. What a nice compliment! The styling would most closely be associated with a "cottage" style home. Residential architecture is always interesting in that different elements will be used from different styles, but this one most closely aligns with the cottage styling.
