We our professional deck builders. The difference between us and my competition is, we care about each and every project we work on. You get a 100% easy care deck or patio from us. We don't just slam your deck up and off to the next project, like most deck builders do. Its not about how many decks or patios you can build in a season, its about Quality, Intergrity and Value.
The customers that use them, call us the following year to clean up there mistakes or fix what they won't come back and do, although it really is there liability. Once they're paid, there long gone!

Thankyou for your time reviewing my information....

Respectfully,
Dave Rzonca

Here is our comparison of Ipe wood and trex http://www.eastteak.com/ipe-vs-trex-transcend-better-decking/ I really think depending on your budget Ipe is the best way to go.

Michelle Portesi I couldn't agree with you more! Construction IS a highly specialized field. There are MANY tradesmen that are VERY specialized in what they do, and those who are not, you can clearly see through their quality (or lack thereof) of craftsmanship. Just because a tradesman makes his job look easy, doesn't mean it actually is. Remember, most have many years of experience in their fields. My husband specializes in rails and staircases, with majority of his work focusing on curved rails/solid treads, and hand carving. Curved and angled railings often have parts that that have to be hand-carved (this comes as a big block that has to be hand-carved to fit the rail and the profile). Bending a rail is a science all on its own. You have to know exactly how much each type of wood has to be over-bent in order for it to snap back to align with the stairs (bad alignment means the balusters will not be centered on the hand rail and stairs when installed, and potentially thousands of dollars in material and labor will get trashed). Each material has its own strength, density, and hardness. Knowing how each material will behave when it is bent comes with experience. It is not something you can look up in a DIY handbook and attempt on your own.

@mylilremodelproject - That is a GORGEOUS staircase. And it's one I wouldn't have attempted to design construction wise myself. That's why God created architects! Or even better, the craftsmen who specialize in building staircases. Having truly knowledgeable and skilled tradesmen are invaluable to construction companies, designers and homeowners alike. I have certainly relied on a master staircase builder on a few projects.

Yes we do our own work. If it is a huge job, usually over 1,000 square feet, I hire sub finishers to help us prepare the concrete and get it ready to stamp.

Thanks, Dave Rzonca

Doesn't work that great. Way more work because you need to pre-drill before screws will go in or screws will snap off. Use the stainless steel clips for groove and groove.

Depending on where you live and if you have alot of expanding and contracting within the decking itself. If you live out in California and you don't have much of a temperature swing, then maybe you can get away with top screwing. However top screwing here in Ohio would be a BIG Waste. Screws would shear off the minute the decking decided to move. Then you would have to start all over.

Advantage lumber knows whats best. Just listen to them. They haven't steared me wrong in the last 30 years. I never had an issue with any of my hidden fasteners unseating themselves and popping a seam. Never! Good Luck!

Anyone in the market for a new deck or patio, please take your time selecting the design and options you want, don't be rushed into a quick sale, because supposively your getting a better deal. Not true, most likely there are corners getting cut somewhere to justify the deal you got. Once built your stuck with what you have. I strive to my clients that the proper planning is the key to a successful outcome. We have written warranties on all of our products. All of our products are guaranteed as well. I am always available for any questions if anyone has any, I can be reached by my 888 number or sending on message on houzz on here. Thank you!
