Shane D. Inman Good Morning and thanks for your questions.
The front loading washer and dryer pictured here are raised approximately 15". The reason for all the cabinets in the laundry room is for storage, clothing, cleaning supplies, organization, outdoor items and much more.
Have a great day and thanks again

Shane D. Inman Good Morning and thank you for your question.
Since the project is several years finished - I no longer have the paint specifications on hand but I can tell you that the entire paint collection used was from Restoration Hardware.
I do hope that helps you!

Shane D. Inman published an ideabook: Put Your Kitchen in a Good Light With a Window Backsplash

tammytimamy I like the idea and the look, but in my opinion, having a see-through glass splash back behind the cooker hob is a bit mad - lovely splatters of tomato based sauces and grease come to mind. Glass is so much harder to clean if you expect to look through it as well (which is why windows are a complete pain to clean). I have a window above the sink area, and it gets splashed all the time and looks so dirty, no matter how much I clean it. And that's just with water splashes!

Shane D. Inman Good Morning and thank you for your question.
I purchased this trash can from an online source that I do not remember since the project is several years finished. I went to Google and typed in "contemporary trash cans" and then I selected one - ordered it and placed it.
I hope that helps you - have a great day

jacksonbeth Another neat option is this tile backsplash option from Web Don, called Kitchen Palette. We just used this in our kitchen and its awesome. You can interchange the over piece over the stove or sink.

Shane D. Inman Good Evening and thank you for your kind words.
The backsplash material is glass. Since the project is many years completed I can only guess at the manufacturer now - I believe it was "Artistic Tile". I purchased it in Traverse City Michigan at a tile showroom called TileStone Imports. Feel free to Google their phone number if you would like - they are super professional.

julie77777 ddelora and Lyn T -- I am with you.......I cannot imagine having to clean grout on my kitchen walls near my stove and my sink! I am starting some remodeling and can't deide what to do .... all these modern backsplashes are lovely to look at, but wow..... I currently have two coats of a very good paint behind my stove and it cleans up great. I have decided to definitely go with the short (3"?) backsplash that normally is attached to the countertop; absolutely cannot imagine NOT having that right behind my sink. Then above that, not sure yet... Low budget for backsplash --

jacksonbeth We really like our new tile backsplash because it is unique. We took advantage of a product by Web Don called Kitchen Palette..it is very nice, allows for interchangable design of your entire backsplash:

Yes, down lighting - while you are sitting at the make-up vanity - combined with above recessed lighting will do the trick for applying.

Well - what I would do is to first use cork tiles - they come in 12"x12". I would then glue them to the wall all around the dart board - about 3' to each side. Then I would apply another layer of the same cork tiles to the same location so that the cork is really thick - this way the darts will not penetrate through the cork and damage the wall - when thrown at the dart board.
You can either glue both layers of cork to the wall or you could apply them to a substrate first (wood or MDF) this way you can then remove the entire board at a later date without having to scrape the cork off the wall because you glued it down.
Hope that helps
Have a great day!
Shane

I think applying cork to wood first is the way to go...didn't think of that! Thanks for the great tip.
