The Taylors love “houses”…and they are experts in the art of creating HOMES for other’s who share their passion! They believe that a home is the stage on which you live your life and therefore the architecture, the interior design, the arrangement of each space, the furnishings and the even the accessories should speak much more about who you are and not so much about who you might wish to be. The art the Taylors practice so expertly is knowing how to set that stage so that it welcomes family and friends authentically, so that is offers its inhabitants a palpable sense of their past as well as the possibilities for their future, and that it resonates with the music of laughter and the aroma of hospitality; that it offers comfort of security, and a refuge to enjoy some of the simple luxuries of life.

William a fifth generation Floridian, and Phyllis a native New Yorker, founded their namesake Architecture and Interior Design firm on the shores of Miami Beach in 1983. Their offices are located in a vintage "Spanish-Deco" bungalow in the heart of historic South Beach. Together they create award winning and widely published projects throughout South Florida as well as the Caribbean. While confirmed stylistic "Pluralist", the Taylors always strive to infuse their work with an appreciation of the indigenous elements of the climate, the water, and the carefree ambience of the tropics. Their work is regularly featured in national as well as regional media of all types. They are currently creating a mountain top retreat in North Carolina, a major oceanfront estate, and apartments in many of Miami's prestigious towers. The Taylors are excited about their newly released book "Classic Florida Style: The Homes of Taylor & Taylor".
