The Artist's Table

Business Description
The seed of her latest endeavor was planted when Suzanne realized there was a place at her table for art that could complement a carefully selected collection of ceramics, glassware and silverware. This idea germinated into a novel concept for grafting original artwork onto high-quality linen to create an extraordinary array of table runners, napkins, placemats, cocktail napkins, and tablecloths.

Suzanne sought out artists whose work she admired and would be a natural fit for her high-end tabletop esthetic. She also researched the finest, most durable eco-friendly fabrics – ultimately selecting Belgian Linen – as well as small-batch textile-printing techniques that would retain the artworks’ integrity on fabric. It was important to Suzanne that The Artist’s Table linens would be made in the USA, and that she support her local economy. To that end, she transformed part of her barn/studio into a workshop equipped with state-of-the-art sewing machines operated by local seamstresses who literally finish each piece in her Sonoma County backyard.
