Thom holds a degree in Interior Design from the Fashion Institute of Technology in NYC, a NCIDQ Certificate, and a Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering. After working for 4 years as a designer for a commercial design firm, Thom then honed his design skills with an established residential design firm, where he worked for 7 years as Senior Designer of high end residences, designing homes predominantly in NYC, Greenwich and the Hamptons. Thom then established his own design firm.

Thom’s design sense has been formed by his love of the aesthetics of historical, traditional and contemporary design, his appreciation for old world craftsmanship, and his understanding of the technical aspects required of the most state-of-the-art interiors. Thom combines his understanding of the influence of light, the psychology of color, and his passion for extraordinary fabrics and finishes, to create some of the most beautiful, comfortable and inviting environments.
