sachikonitta Last year,I painted may bedroom wall green blue. I don't know if its effective for good sleep because its looks more yellowish with room light on. However, every morning I can wake up feeling fresh.Blue room in daylight is very beautiful.

Kristina Heredia Thank you so much for this informative post! I am a wallpaper lover, lol! I find it refreshing and dramatic especially used in small areas like a powder room as mentioned above, or an accent wall. I have a black and white damask pattern in my dinning room and love the drama it adds. You can also use subtle patterns with a beautiful sheen for glam, especially in how light may hit it. I love Farrow and Ball wallpaper, or Candice Olsen's shimmering details line. And wallpaper isn't what it used to be as mentioned by many above, it is much easier to remove.

Pamela Rosenberg It is gorgeous in someone else's home. I am just old enough to have wallpapered our entire home in the mid and late 90's. It is hard to showcase art on a patterned wall, I tired of the patterns, and I eventually had to strip it off or pay someone to strip it for me. $$$ As tempting as these photos are I think I will pass this time around.
