Thomas Thaddeus Truett, born and reared in the deep south, grew up with an artistic sense of creating and building, with family members in the building industry for generations. I have always been interested in the visual arts of film, design and music. I believe that all arts have influence on one another and I try to establish an emotion to my Architecture in the same way.
Thomas Thaddeus Truett Architect P.C., since 2007, has been independently designing homes along the Georgia coast. Rooted in a strong background of classical and modern architecture, Thad designs uniquely traditional houses which blend a variety of vernacular styles, such as Southern American, European, and Mediterranean styles. His well-recognized designs reflect his attention to architectural details combined with quality materials which blend naturally in the southern setting of lush green foliage and live oak trees. Similar to the hundred year old live oaks, Thad’s designs appear to be carved in the landscape as if being there for many years. Thad’s commitment to the continuum of traditional southern architecture is evident throughout his diverse residential designs.
