Union Street Studio, LLC was founded in 2013 by partners Erika Franke and Norman Cox as the successor firm to Franke, Gottsegen, Cox Architects. Based on broad experience in residential, commercial, retail, and institutional projects, we are expert at leading teams that meet project challenges with creative design solutions, effective communication and sensitivity to financial requirements. Superlative design is not a matter of appearance alone. All aspects of our projects receive meticulous consideration, from the initial program of client requirements through final construction details, resulting in projects with both a unified aesthetic and optimum building performance. Clients are fully involved during all phases and their objectives guide our design work so that the final project precisely meets their requirements. As coordinators of the project team, we apply our management expertise to ensure that all participants are cooperating and providing their best work. We use our skills to benefit projects by controlling costs, minimizing problems and speeding completion.
