I Love this product. We are remodeling apartments in Los Angeles. Tenants can be pretty abusive. Will Krion hold up- and if damaged can we repair?

Krion is a solid surface material. Solid surface countertops include Corian, HiMacs, staron, Krion and others. Silestone is a quartz countertop. Quartz countertops include Silestone, Cambria, Zodiaq, Viatera and others.

Quartz is more risistant to scratches than solid surface. However solid surface can be refinished much easier and if ever damaged it can be repaired.

Both materials have their own strengths and weaknesses.

Both are nonporous and great materials for bathroom vanities.

It is a standard clear glass. I think the grey undertones in the marble in the shower are giving it the tinted look.

We estimate it would cost around $180 to $195 per square foot today. This home was build back in 2006.
