Our sole purpose is to Improve Your World through remodeling! Vick Construction & Remodeling provides turn-key home remodeling, home additions, and restoration services that range from the simplest repair to the most challenging remodel, addition, or construction project. We are a “quality first” driven company which prides itself in improving the world in which our clients live and work. Our projects range from period restoration, remodeling, new construction, additions, to kitchens, baths, family rooms, and more. Kevin Vick, owner of Vick Construction and Remodeling, was the 2017 President of the Greater Houston Builders Association Remodelers Council. So that he is better equipped to deliver a superior product and service experience to his clientele, he strongly believes in professional growth in the industry and is currently on the Boards of the Greater Houston Builder's Association and the American Society of Interior Designers, Gulf Coast Chapter. Vick completed a remodel of our kitchen, butler's pantry and laundry room, earlier this year. The scope of work included demolition, relocating utilities (gas, water, electrical, HVAC), new tile floor in laundry room, laundry room cabinets, refinishing wood floors, installation of appliances, quartzite countertops, redesign of lighting, tile backsplashes, and paint. Vick's in-house crew is excellent - while dust and disruption are inevitable on a project of this scope, they were very good at minimizing both, and did a thorough job of cleanup at the end of the workday. Mr **** and his workers and subcontractors were all very professional and easy to work with. When we encountered some surprises or problems, they were resolved quickly and amicably. The office did a pretty good job of keeping us informed of crew schedules. His subs generally did an excellent job. The laundry room cabinets were are better than the previous builder grade cabinets. The lighting design exceeded our expectations - the lighting improved the ambiance and functionality of our kitchen. The countertop sub was the only one that didn't quite live up to our expectations. The flooring contractor did an excellent job on our walnut floors - they look better than when they were originally installed. We would definitely use Vick Construction again on future projects.

Kevin did our kitchen and downstairs in our Montrose home. He was professional and courteous throughout but most of all sat down and listened to what we wanted and offered ideas and suggestions. When we wanted scope changes, he again talked through them with us, documented everything and talked through before we went ahead. I would love to work with him again in future projects.

Vick Construction replaced a shower and then did a bathroom renovation for us. They expertly diagnosed the repair of the shower and worked really well with us to do a renovation as part of the repair. During the process, we decided to movee to be closer to the family. They offered to do the make ready work on the house, which was well beyond the scope of our agreement. We learned that the house had problems and they stuck with us through a long cycle of inspections and repairs. Vick offered advice, recommended other contractors, and was very patient with our many questions and needs. They were timely, professional, responsive, and the end result was cosmetically and structurally a success. Highly recommended!

Vick Construction was very thorough in their site visits, putting together the estimate and ensuring that we were all aligned in the direction we wanted to go with our replacement fireplace and mantle. Their team came in and isolated the room so that we didn't have any construction dust in the rest of the house, and they were all very friendly and professional throughout the project. They were quick to respond to our messages or phone calls when normal questions, schedule adjustments, or issues popped up throughout the project. We recommend using them for any medium to large home improvement needs.

From beginning to end, the entire Vick Construction team surpassed our expectations. Kevin was always available to talk and would frequently stop by to check on the progress or meet us at appointments if necessary. The office manager, Becky, was also a joy to work with and was in constant communication in regards to scheduling, deliveries, etc. Every single person that came into our home was kind, polite, knowledgeable and cleanly (which we very much appreciated). Not to mention their quality of work is outstanding. We absolutely love our new kitchen, pantry, mudroom, powder room and fireplace. They’re a fun, talented group of people who produce amazing work and I would highly recommend them to anyone.

We hired Vick Construction to do 2 full bathroom remodels and create an office space/multi-purpose room in our two-story home. We are so happy we hired them. From the beginning, Kevin, the owner of the company, was extremely hands-on, and involved in all decisions for the project. Becky, the office manager was always available to answer any questions we had and let us know each week what the schedule would be or if there were any changes. Kevin's crew was incredibly professional throughout the project, and their quality and craftsmanship exceeded our expectations. The project was completed in a timely manner. The only delays we had were due to changes we made ourselves about fixtures. Vick construction exceeded our expectations. We love our new bathrooms and our multi-purpose space. We will work with Vick Construction on future projects!

I requested Vick Construction to install electric lights in my kitchen cabinets. The upper cabinets have glass doors which would allow me to display some cherished keepsakes. The lights that Vick Construction installed will now highlight and draw attention, just as I always wanted, to these beautifully painted China plates that were cherished by my dear husband. Derek, Vick Construction electrician is an expert! The electric wiring is hidden, virtually invisible! After the work was completed, Derek, cleaned his work areas, leaving my kitchen clean, neat and organized. Derek was also very respectful in answering my questions, he was a very friendly and kind worker. I truly enjoyed our conversations and the time he spent working in my home. I highly recommend Vick Construction for any home renovations and remodeling. The owner, Kevin Vick and his staff, set the bar very high in providing great customer and client service. Vick construction removed my old deck and replaced it with a TREX deck. The work area was kept clean and all old decking was removed with little to no mess. I was kept informed of progress all during the rebuild. Attention was paid to detail and several things were fixed that just were around the deck, not even part of the project. Some lose bricks around the pool were repaired, some problems with mortar at the back of the house were also repaired and they where not part of the project but made the finished product more impressive. The crew that worked on the project were very polite and often asked for my preference. I was very pleased with everyone involved from the office personnel, crew members and Kevin. A very professional team with completion of a very professionally finished project.

I hired Vick Construction and Remodeling to install a new fireplace where one did not exist in my living room, frame it and put tile all the way to the ceiling, and add some shelves for my AV equipment to both sides. This was a pretty involved job, and I got several estimates, but Kevin Vick earned my confidence in several ways: he has experience with jobs like mine, he is very organized, and he was willing to document everything, putting all line items in the estimate so that there were no surprises. He worked with my schedule which was a little crazy, and actually did some of the work while I was out of the country. They were very careful, but they did chip one of my floor tiles. However, their people came out immediately and replaced it with no hassle. I am super pleased with the results. I got exactly what I wanted, and I cannot stress enough how pleasant the process was. I highly recommend Vick Construction and Remodeling.

We hired Vick Construction to do a full kitchen remodel on our 1950's single story ranch-style home. From the beginning, Kevin, the owner of the company, was extremely hands-on, and remained the primary point of contact for us throughout the project, which we found important. Kevin's crew was incredibly professional throughout the project, and their quality and craftsmanship exceeded our expectations. No project is without its hiccups, and we had our share of slight delays (all really driven by the age of the home, and condition of prior work); however, we felt comfortable that issues that came up were communicated to us in detail. Required alterations to the ongoing work that we noticed as parts of the project were completed were handled and corrected to our satisfaction. We wouldn't change a thing about our new kitchen and would hire Vick on future work!
