Hi Vicki,

I'm not sure, they were purchased by the owner, the only thing I know is that they used a lot of Christian Liagere.

I would recommend a large round "statement piece" table right in the middle under the chandelier. Since it functions as an entry way, there really isn't the need to sit down. Rather the round table could be a setting for a magnificent floral arrangement, or a year-round succulent grouping in a single planter, or a group of pretty vessels. Then I would furnish the niche with either a skinny secretary table (a place to land keys, notes, mail), or a large scale artwork, either 2D or 3D.

Super room. I love the touch of humour in the owl cushion.

I think two chairs and a table would look really welcoming, and it's a lovely place to sit and read. Talking of which, I've added more books to the lower part of the bookcase to make it look more solidly grounded, and cleared just a little space on a couple of shelves. Also, I think the bookcase is a bit too narrow for the niche, but a pair of floor vases fixes that problem. And I don't think you need the branches on the right.

I'm thinking, too, that the rug doesn't feel right for an entrance -- deep pile is more suitable for a living room or bedroom -- but then with the hardwood you may not want one at all.
