Many great ideas and comments. We are all on budgets regardless. Shower curtains on curved rods are excellent options to expensive glass. Be sure to order "hotel" length liners so they "empty" into the shower/tub area. Subway tile never goes out of style nor do tiled floors. We have had a radiant heated bathroom floor and feel it is well worth the $$$.

best purchase EVER, heated towel rack. Floor standing model. $30. Keeps towels warm, drys, prevents moldy sour smell. Just make sure plumber puts plug in right spot.

Heated floors can be much less expensive than one might think. A heated towel rack can be a wonderful luxury for even less money. Both can keep your bathroom fresh and dry.

I was thinking about a towel warmer. But, where would it go? Also, what do you think about the art?

It's concrete, colored with a 1/2 pound of lamp black. It is very kid and dog friendly, takes a lot of abuse and cleans up easily. We have in-floor radiant heating. thanks for the question

Are you able to share a photo of the current state of the bathroom? What does your dream bath consist of? (Soaking tub, double shower, heated floor tiles...?)

You can take a look at our LAVA® Infrared Heating Panels! Unfortunately they do not plug into an outlet, but they a great design addition and can be used for central or auxiliary heating.

I think the under-carpet heating would have to augment some other kind of heat but would keep the main floor area where you have your feet more comfortable. My friend supplements her furnace heat with an electric FP with blower and her home is very comfortable, even with single pane windows.

Jen, our system may work for you as a primary heat source, but there are some steps we need to take to find our for sure. The first step is to get a complimentary design completed for you so we can understand the heat output that our system will provide. Once we have that information we will work with you to complete a heat loss calculation that will let you know if there is a shortfall of BTUs, or if the system will work for you. I'll have a representative give you a cal so we can get started.
