Wind and Willow Home No, it wasn't knotty pine it was actually an oak veneer paneling. I sanded until dull and then painted with an interior acrylic paint. It took about 4 coats of paint but the transformation was worth it.

La Lune Collection Decorating for kids is just so much fun! And we LOVE when clients come to us with unique ideas for custom pieces. Our friends at Weiss & Wirth Interior Design, Glenwood Springs, CO, commissioned this custom bunk bed with bookshelves for their most precious of customers, the sweet Adrien and Esme.
Check out this kids bunkbeds' progression, concept to completion:

lauraclaycomb I don't understand why people want to put chalk in their children's bedrooms - long exposure to chalk dust is NOT good for growing lungs, and if your child is asthmatic, it could be disastrous! Looks cool, but all those particles in the air... ?
