Additional InformationMr. Wygoda is a registered architect in New York, with more than 40 years of experience in architecture and design construction. He holds a Bachelor of Architecture from the City University of New York, and is an affiliated member of the National Council of Historical Preservation, and the American Society of Military Engineers. He has worked extensively in New York City and the greater Metro, including his work with the New York City Planning Commission to rezone Far Rockaway, Queens. For his commercial work along Northern Boulevard in Queens, Mr. Wygoda received a Queens Chamber of Commerce Award. His projects range in size and purpose, including correctional facilities, schools and the New York City transit system. Mr. Wygoda’s work has been featured in The New York Times, the New York Post, Wall Street Journal, New York magazine, and several national publications. He was also given special mention in the American Institute of Architects Justice Facilities Annual Review. He has served as an Adjunct Associate Professor of Architecture at New York University, and is currently writing a book based on his design of more than 500 of New York City’s sidewalk cafes.
