We're a 40 year old family-run business - a boutique builder - building only 10 - 12 upper bracket homes each year.

While we're based in Minneapolis MN, we're willing and able to take on significant projects throughout the country. Our unique, web-based management system allows us to oversee projects long distance and keep or clients informed. We've partnered with www.BuildTools.com to develop tools never before seen in the construction industry.

All of our projects are built on a fully transparent / open book basis, locking into a firm budget before construction begins. Our clients have full access to all of the bids and invoices on their project & our fee is a percentage of the total project cost, listed as a line item on the budget. We competitively bid each category of the work to 2-3 subcontractors. This ensures that we are getting the best pricing possible, from a group of contractors that we know to deliver our expected level of quality.

As a part of our construction process, and as a part of our construction fee, we assist our clients through construction selections and interior design. We employ 3 interior designers that work with our clients to make every selection necessary to build their project. Through the design process, our designers develop cabinetry design and millwork details. In addition, we partner with local Interior design firms to consider furnishing, window treatments, etc... early in the process. This integration insures that furniture placement, size, and design is considered while laying out lighting, ceiling details, and general flow throughout the home. Our designers work from a 'library' of finishes: tile, wood flooring, hardware, etc.. that enable them to work very efficiently with our clients, and saves quite a bit of running around to multiple showrooms.

Sven is personally involved in the construction of all of our homes & employ 2 professional project managers that oversee the daily schedules at our homes. They typically manage no more than 2 projects at a given time, ensuring that you get the attention you need and deserve. Under our model, our project managers manage all aspects of the project - from schedule, management of contracts, changes, etc... They're the best in the business - career project managers, not just scheduling superintendants.

We've developed and use an online tool to manage our schedules, our client selections, change orders all client communication & project documents. You are able to:
- Review a running total of all change orders - with online approval & rejection.
- Communicate with our entire team.
- Receive monthly payment requests.
- Review the current project schedule - updated in real time.
- See weekly project photos.
- Review our weekly project updates.
- Review punch-list and after occupancy service items.
