Ok, here's another quick question. We are going to use Starphire glass for the shower and a matching toilet room that is opposite the shower. (I like symmetry!) The toilet room, however, is going to be more opaque. One supplier is suggesting Satin Etched Starphire for the toliet door and panel. Another is suggesting a sandblasted glass with a protective coating. I am leaning towards the Satin Etched because I think it will hold up better. Do you agree? Also, do you think it is necessary to do one of the protective cleaning coatings, like Showerguard, over the clear Starphire for the shower and over the Satin Etched Starphire for the toilet area? Ask or check written specifications for the actual size, try to find out what the average variance of tile size from this figure is. Tumbled tile typically varies the most due to the rounding and chipping at the edges.
