Hufft Projects

Project: The word ‘project’ encompasses all that is paramount to our philosophy at Hufft Projects.

As a noun, project is “an undertaking requiring concerted effort.” Each design solution is a complex mixture of elements and thoughts that must work together in a cohesive fashion to be successful. We guarantee this cohesion by carefully researching and analyzing each design aspect. Then each element is studied for how it might relate to the project as a whole to create a successful mixture.

As a verb, project means “to convey an impression to an audience.” As designers, we understand that we are also creating a piece of our client’s identity. Thus, our work is defined by each client’s independent needs, not a unified style or time period. Every client and program requires a unique logic of creation; the only consistent ingredient of our creation process is the use of modern logic and sustainability with the goal of advancing our clients’ lifestyle, business, and/or image to a higher level.

Dorman Architects This piece was inspired by the dappled sunlight filtering through the gently swaying trees outside my window a few weeks ago. Not only were the flickering shadows being cast on the horizontal surfaces of the park but also danced on our office blinds like an abstract shadow puppet...here is a still from the unmade video!

Budget Fence and Patio Though I love both traditional and modern architectural styles, I prefer simple designs on walls. A useful note to help people into renovating walls.

midmodfan I'm all for exposed brick, it's a beautiful, authentic building material.
But fake beams, like all things fake, make me cringe.
