jillian12 any idea what the distance from the range hood to the counter is (measured from the ends or the center)? And where is the range hood switch?

The Kitchen Studio of Glen Ellyn The distance is 33" measured from the ends but keep in mind that your manufacturer's specifications will determine this distance (for safety purposes). The hood has an insert and the switch is on the insert up under the wood hood. Hope that helps.

The Kitchen Studio of Glen Ellyn Since each manufacturer has its own names for stain colors, a name will not be much help unless you are ordering from this manufacturer. If this is the case (Christiana Cabinetry), let me know and I will look it up for you. The stain is on quarter sawn white oak and is a caramel color.
