yoga22 I painted it Tradewinds from Sherwin Williams. The bedroom looks more sky blue whereas the bathroom appears a little more aqua. Likely because the ceiling is bone which needs to be painted lighter. Only reason for change in color is I am putting aqua and turquoise accents in my living room and bedroom may appear too baby blue. Bedroom is right off living room in my condo in Scottsdale

Garrison Hullinger Interior Design Inc. I would say take a look at them in a showroom if possible. My personal opinion, the Rohl fireclay warranty is 10 yr, the Kohler is 1 yr. The weight of the Rohl is 100lbs and the Kohler 69lbs...there is something about the Rohl that has a substantial and life-time sink feel to it.

Garrison Hullinger Interior Design Inc. These are marble floors. There is an art to mixing the materials of the marble and the porcelain. I would get a sample of the tile and take it to the slab room and see what you think with the two pieces next to each other.

Ironwood Builders Pat...One thing to understand is that most of the photos on Houzz are from design and construction professionals portfolios. I'm not going to show off (or spend a bunch of money photographing) the shed I built two years ago. A good client needed it, we built it. It is a common, everyday shed. I have spent hundreds, if not thousands of dollars getting projects professionally photographed...not going to do that with the shed. So what you see on Houzz is the biggest, grandest, most expensive stuff we've done...what you need to take away from those photos is the lessons on light, shadow, color, texture, pattern, emptiness, fullness, positive space, negative space, organization and chaos...from there we can help.

Stoneshop Granite doesn't really have much of an issue with scratching, whether it has a honed or polished finish. You care for both finishes the same way. Clean it only with your granite cleaner and seal the countertops approximately once a year. Black granite is very hard, so it's practically indestructible.

trasgorshek Ok, I keep coming back to relish in the photos but I am truly perplexed how any creative person could not absolutely love and enjoy these spaces. Garrison Hullinger's design has floors made out of pennies and the light fixtures are made from water bottles for crying out loud. How can you not appreciate the ingenuity and absolute creativity that goes into these vingettes. I think maybe the purpose of these spaces got lost in translation. Maybe people or scanning the photos and not reading the text? I sincerely hope that's the case because these spaces are positively interior design art at its best, when designers are set free without limitations to create a fantasy space. BEAUTIFUL!
