She did a lovely job of creating the tiles and they are the perfect finishing touch to our beautiful new kitchen! She kept to the schedule we discussed and was great at communicating throughout the project.”

“Our dining room ceiling is an cone shaped octagon. It was always our intention to do something dramatic to this striking architectural feature but money and lack of ideas necessitated putting off this project for a number of years following construction of the house. Finding the right artist was also an issue. Then we met Lisa. Her skill as a Faux artist and a great idea from Houzz gave us exactly what we had been seeking for over 10 years. “I have had the pleasure of working with Markus and his guys on three separate projects at my house thus far. The first job they performed was a custom kitchen countertop and fireplace mantle both made from reclaimed heart pine wood which turned out great. A few weeks later I had them come out and replace the old flooring in the kitchen and hallway. This was quite the job, they had to work all the way down to the sub floor and then install a new layer of ply before installing the new life-proof vinyl plank flooring which looks awesome and totally transformed the kitchen. Lastly I had them to install a custom backsplash. Working with Custom Old Wood Designs was great! These guys where always on time and met all deadlines and never exceeded the budget/estimate for each job. I will be working with these again for future projects.”

“We had a large-but-outdated "white" kitchen and butler's pantry, and didn't know what to do. Pam designed a totally new look for us, talking us through ideas and what it would look like, then estimating and completing the job. The results were spectacular (and I don't use this word very often!), incorporating a faux-finished "cream glaze" for main cabinets, antiqued black for the island and butler's pantry, accented with touches like specialty glass and tile. It saved us from ripping the kitchen and got comments from everyone who visited. We loved it so much that we asked Pam to continue with our laundry (with the same result, looked like a magazine-pic when she was done). We've since sold the house and downsized, and look forward to having Pam help us with design of a future retirement home! I would welcome the opportunity to speak with anyone about this.”
