“I was introduced to Denise Foster's work by an old friend of mine about five years ago. She had painted a little girl on a stamp and he happened to have one. As it turn out, it was one of her little grandchildren. What a lovely portrait. I called her to see if she did any other kind of painting, and could I see it?
