Cabinetry of Pinehurst stored the vanity for me for several months until it could be placed in my home. Once the vanity could be installed in my new home, Cabinetry of Pinehurst responded in a timely fashion and had the vanity installed. It looks spectacular. “Mint Hill Cabinet Shop did a fantastic job building all of the cabinets in an extensive renovation that included a new kitchen, laundry, mudroom and family room. We could not be more pleased with their craftsmanship, and guests almost always remark that they love our cabinets. Jerry was a pleasure to work with. It was clear he was dedicated to making sure the final product met our expectations. He walked us through all of our options, and was quick to turn around an estimate based on what we selected. When it was time to pick finishes, he created a number of samples (even adding in his own ideas, one of which we picked!) so we could confidently make a choice. The perimeter kitchen cabinets are painted, with inset shaker-style doors and antique glass at the top. The island is a beautiful stained knotty alder with custom legs. In our family room, Mint Hill built the lower cabinets with geometric cutout MDF screening panels so the cabinet is ventilated for our electronics. Remotes work great while the doors are closed, and the cabinets look beautiful. They built a custom mantle for the living room, and a custom shoe bench and shelf for our mudroom. The laundry room cabinets have a built-in area for our washer and dryer and accommodate a farmhouse sink. They are also painted inset shaker doors, with full antique glass uppers along the sink wall for displaying china and crystal. I can’t say enough good things about Mint Hill Cabinet Shop, and will definitely use them on our next project.”

The complete farm kitchen renovation is outstanding, our home kitchen renovation is wonderful, and his recent laundry room construction at the farm is amazing. “Bill was recommended to me for a guest house buildout my husband and I were in the process of and I am so glad for this referral! Bill is exceptional in every way: craftsmanship; attention to function, form and details; professionalism; reliability; customer service and just plain likeability! Bill can build anything and he did an excellent job with every part of our project from Sheetrock to beadboard to mouldings and trim work. “I initially hired Richard to make a custom master bathroom vanity for my house in Old Towne Pinehurst. After seeing his final product, I was hooked (he even changed the color for me at no cost - thats custom work). I proceeded to use Richard to do the remainder of my house (kitchen, wine storage, and fireplace surrounds). He understood the look I was going for. He drew up custom plans and showed me his vision for my kitchen (a design other kitchen companies in the area said would not work). He absolutely nailed the kitchen. He added intricate details and even had custom iron work made to match my door hardware. I continued to have him add his custom touch throughout my home by adding in custom bookshelves, ceiling beams, posts, he even made my kitchen table. He tied the entire house together. It truly feels like a home - not a cookie cutter replica other companies provide. Richard was honest and completely transparent about costs and timelines. I will use him for my next house (and I am moving to Baltimore).”
