“In December, 2013, we decided we wanted to add a sunroom to the back of the house that would be usable year round. After doing some research we contacted Sun Boss. The last time we had contracted someone to do work for us it turned out to be a huge disaster, so when we decided on this project, we took time to really check out the various contractors. We are so happy we chose Sun Boss. This project required removing a back patio slab and it's cover. Pouring a new slab that was larger than the previous one and building a 364 sq. ft. sunroom. The sunroom has one wall of all windows with a 2' wall at the bottom, another wall that is solid and has a glass door, and one more wall that is windows with a 2' wall at the bottom and a glass door. The 4th wall was the back of the house which was stucco and they put wallboard up on that wall. The representatives from Sun Boss were very thorough and communicated frequently with us, sending drawings for approval and making changes when requested. After every stage of the project, we were contacted by the main office to make sure everything met with our approval. EVERYTHING they said they would do, they did do and in the timeframe and costs promised. All of the sub-contractors were courteous, professional and extremely good at their job. We passed inspections with flying colors. In that Sun Boss is a good 1-1/2 to 2-hour drive from our house, we were impressed with the timeliness of the arrival of the Sun Boss reps and sub-contractors. Some stayed here in our area, some drove back and forth everyday. They would call us if they were stuck in a traffic jam that might delay their arrival. At no time did we have to wonder where the workers were or when they would arrive. Destruction of the old patio began near the end of January and the project was completed by mid-March. As we went into the project expecting delays and problems due to our previous experience, we were amazed and extremely pleased with the ease of this project. We highly recommend Sun Boss.”

“I found Teak Master looking for ideas on how to enhance the natural color of our Ipe wood deck. I had played around with the thought of stripping the shinny varnish coating our contractor had applied and allow it to weather naturally on its own. But after viewing the before and after photos of wood decks on the Teak Master website, I knew allowing the wood to weather wasn't an option. I walked through each option with Tim and Raul and came to the conclusion that a tinted oil seal would work best with the recent stone landscape upgrades we had just finished. The guys came in a washed the deck clean the first day. I was impressed on how meticulous they were in covering the windows and areas around the washing (me being a neat freak I was so appreciative of this) The next day the crew came in and deep sanded the wood smooth. The sanding made the wood look brand new, it was pretty amazing to watch! After viewing various color tints, I decided on a recommendation from Raul on a "warm honey tone." I appreciate how patient Raul was on showing us a multitude of colors to get exactly what we wanted. I know it is difficult to change the natural color of Ipe wood, but they were able to do it. The guys hand brushed the sealer on and we couldn't be happier. Our deck looks amazing!!! Compliments and highly recommended.”

“I highly recommend DBS Construction; William Duarte was very helpful and quick to provide us with the estimate for the stone work we needed for our home. I had attempted to contact a few other referrals to complete this job and was disappointed by their verbal and incomplete estimates. I felt that no one was taking me seriously because it was a smaller job and only required covering old orange-red brick pillars in the front of our house. Although a small area, changing the stone detail would prove to give our home a great new look and this was very important to me. William was extremely patient with me as I struggled to make the right stone selection, so many color variations and designs to choose from! I explained we had a budget and he worked with me to stay on track and kept me informed daily. Although I was inexperienced in this area I knew exactly what I wanted for the new look of our home.
