“Called Simpson Sheet Metal Inc when my furnace stopped working in the middle of very cold weather. I have used this company for over 25 years and have always received great service and they stand behind their work. They were able to get a guy out in a few hours and fixed the problem within a few minutes. If you go to their website they also have a coupon to apply to the repair work they complete and it was nice to save some money! All is working well and we are warm and cozy!”

MOORE HEATING AND AIR CONDITIONING

Average rating: 5 out of 5 starsJune 27, 2013
“Moore Heating and Air Conditioning just finished installing forced air heating and AC in a house I just bought. The house was built in the 80s and had no central heat and no duct system. Because of how the house was built, the unit had to be installed outside and 2 separate duct systems had to run to the crawl space and the attic as it was impossible to connect the second floor to the first one. The job was very challenging. Moore's crew worked for 4 full days. They had to build some custom boxes to direct the duct from the outside, through a cabinet to the crawl space and another box from the crawl space for the return air. It rained for 2 days. The workers kept putting on booties to be indoors and taking them off to go outside, minimizing the dust and dirt in the house. They also protected my brand new hardwood floors. They wore the booties for the 4 days, even though it had stopped raining. Every day they left the house clean. I was very pleased with the project. The independent person in charge of checking the energy leakage said that Moore was by far the best of the 40 companies he works with. The excellent reviews had me choose Moore. I will add mine very shortly. Moore offers a 25 month interest free plan, that is very helpful. The new generation thermostat was installed. It is user friendly and offers some very nice features such as Emergency Heating, for when the house has been left cold after a vacation, that kicks the two heating systems (compressor and another one) at once to heat the house quicker. The whole system is the most quiet I have heard so far. This is in part because the unit is outside. But I felt the cold air coming from the vents well before I heard it. Because the project was so challenging and the house was not prepared for forced air, the total cost was pretty expensive, but I do not regret having used Moore.”
