“Our project was bringing our 1970's kitchen up to date, and expanding it into an adjacent room. This was a complete redesign of the floor plan and essentially starting from the studs. We drew up a rough design (on graph paper!) and walked into the Torrington Lowes to start getting ideas and see what we could do. We were met by Kathy and Danielle, and they took that design and put it in motion to coming a reality. They helped us with everything, from picking out the right cabinets, to lining up a fantastic contractor to install them as well as our new floor and ceiling to go with it. Any questions or concerns we had were quickly addressed, and we are absolutely thrilled with how the project turned out. We would definitely go back to them for future projects, and would highly recommend them to anyone!”

“I love the internet. So many choices. I was searching for a unique sink and vanity for my powder room. I have a 1925 Bungalow, so I preferred something in keeping with the ambiance of my home. After using Google for months and months, I stumbled across Atmosphyre.com. I corresponded with James about my project. Well, you won't get this type of communication and/or service from any of the major home building supply chain stores, let me tell you. We measured (he verified - sent me CAD drawings), and then we spoke on the phone. Interestingly enough, the vanity and sink were shipped by UPS, so no worries about expensive delivery costs. Everything arrived safe and sound, and the project is underway. Absolutely beautiful craftsmanship and the most unique coupling of a bathroom sink and vanity I have seen to date! “We had our kitchen designed and built by Peter Appelson. We have a small kitchen so our main issue was storage space and counter space. Peter came to us with an incredible design utilizing every square foot giving us so much storage space that we can hardly fill it, yet keeping an open flowing integrated feel. His cabinets are very well built as well as being beautiful. We had told him we wanted a light cherry and the color is perfect. Peter designed a multi level counter/work space for us with a two sided glass cabinet above the counter with interior and below cabinet lighting. This is what you see when you walk into our house and it is beautiful. His open design makes our house feel so much larger. Peter's knowledge, experience and incredible design sense leaves you in trustworthy hands. He implicitly understands how to exploit the space that you have. Because our kitchen is now flowing into our dining room and livingroom, Peter also discussed with us how to more fully integrate all the spaces and helped us to choose the right crown molding and color for our hardwood floors. Peter also understands what is needed when it comes to electrical and plumbing and worked very well with our trades and GC. You can trust him to understand what is needed and he is very flexible and can work with and around any issues that may come up. Peter has a phenomenal work ethic - one thing I want to point out is that he is also very clean. He leaves the work space vacuumed and organized for the next days work. He was also on time with design and installation. Peter wants the design to work for the client. He listens and cares about what the client wants and because of his experience, he understands how to bridge what you want with the space he is designing for. Peter cares about his designs and cabinetry - they are truly a reflection of him. He is truly an artist. We can't recommend him highly enough.”

“Adam was extremely responsive and helpful during our project. Initially our contractor could not find the hardware associated with the sink/vanity. We contacted Adam and he immediately contacted the source. He was willing to give us a refund for the hardware since we were under a time crunch with the installation contractor. A day later our contractor found the hardware inside the sink, so all was well. Thank you Adam for your excellent service!!!”
