“From the beginning of the project we were impressed with the amount of time Bruce spent planning, estimating, and measuring for all the work that needed to be done before the project was even started. We had a large project that included damage from flooding and continued renovation of our home. During the renovation process Bruce and his staff kept to their committed schedule consistently. They managed their subcontractors (which is minimal) on a daily basis. All subcontractors were very polite and organized while treating our family and property with the utmost respect. Over the course of the project not only was the end result a wonderful job but we also developed friendships with Glenn, Bruce and staff.”

“My wife and I worked with Build Rite construction over the course of 2018 to build a new constriction on Harbor Shores Golf course in South West Michigan. The craftsmanship of the home was exceptional, including the attention to detail on the finishes. They did custom built-in woodwork throughout the house (entryway, hallway, and master, as well as a pergola off the back patio). The final product is something we're thrilled with and proud to be owners of. Highly recommend the Build Rite team.”

“We had Homework Construction do some smaller projects for us, and there was no question that we wanted Ken to do the kitchen remodel on our 25 year old kitchen in our 50 year old house, built on a slab. Ken is honest, highly skilled, thorough, creative, and respectful of budgets and timelines. He makes suggestions that are within budget, yet give you even more of the result you had in mind. There is no drama, even when the usual challenges arise, e.g., a totally rotted wall behind the old sink and dishwasher. Ken suggested a simple doorway expansion between the kitchen and back entry, which we hadn't even considered, but traffic flows so much better. He had to enlarge the cutout for our double oven, a huge challenge, done perfectly. The required custom build between the free standing hutch and upper cupboards with crown moulding is beautiful. The columns he created to house electrical on the hutch ends are perfect. He was our 'attentive advocate' when an electrician planned to drill holes in the upper cupboards; Ken insisted that the wiring go through the adjoining stock cabinet space. He did a custom cutout on the drawer below the electric cooktop to accommodate the wiring, so I actually have a functional drawer there. He suggested bumping out the wall to the adjoining garage so that we could have a counter depth 33 cf frig. He and his team were always most pleasant, arrived on time, worked dependably, and cleaned up after themselves. The Diamond cabinet rep asked to see the finished project; she was highly impressed with the quality of the work. “Chuck and Ben were very quiet going about their business, and always cleaned up at the end of the day. I was very happy with the results and also how they finished when they said they would be done.
