“Completely gutted kitchen and one bathroom. Updated master and half bath. Wonderful company! Contractor/owner, Virgil, is honest and very particular about job being done and monitors closely. The tradesmen were outstanding. Beautiful work and very respectful of our home keeping it as clean as possible. We couldn't have asked for a better finished product. We would recommend this company to anyone. Might I add that we got three bids on our project. Kitchen Expo was not the least expensive but were the most professional and promptly responded to every question we had during our decision process. Cudos to Sandy also who gives a great, warm first impression when you walk the the showroom.”

“When we remodeled our kitchen in 2014 Amanda was the assistant to the designer. She was instrumental in helping me with design ideas and she was very knowledgable, making suggestions that I would not have considered. Amanda played a major role in the success of our project and she was our point person. Communication is profoundly important to me and Amanda never disappointed. She followed through on every detail and I always felt extremely supported by her. I would hire Amanda again without ANY reservations. She is a delight to work with and her professionalism was a blessing. From the beginning of the project it was obvious Amanda was committed and passionate about doing her job and doing it to the beat of her ability. It is two years later and my kitchen still thrills me and I remember everything Amanda did to make it all come together. In regard to warranty support; I needed a cabinet door replaced a few months back. Amanda, again, was diligent and followed through with the cabinet maker to obtain the door. Although the cabinet maker decided it was not warranty, Amanda worked with me and was able to provide a replacement door for me at no charge. Not that I would expect the free replacement but her willingness to provide stellar customer support long after the project was complete speaks volumes. I'm very thankful I was able to work with Amanda!”

“John Kember and Becky Harding at Kitchens Alive are genuine professionals who deliver an incredible product with supreme service. We had been trying to make a decision for 3 years about our kitchen re-do.We were planning to do this only once so wanted to check out all our options. Many quotes and designs later, we were almost ready to let this rest for awhile nothing seemed to click. Then someone else we knew was in the middle of their kitchen renovation and told us about Kitchens Alive. From the beginning they helped us through from the design & through the steps involved (no one else had helped to break down the process as simply as John and Becky) we were sold! Within 1 - 3 months we had our new kitchen cupboards. We were exstatic, they made my little matchbox of a kitchen into a petite JEWEL BOX! Mike who installed the cabinets and the crown moulding was a very friendly, meticulous worker, very skilled, & pride of his workmanship showed. Two days in and the cabinets were complete. There were a few minor details during the process and John was to our home within 15 minutes to help out. I will certainly be telling everyone we know about their services and anyone who has seen our kitchen definitely wants to know who did the work. Way to go Kitchens Alive, John Kember, Becky Harding and the Mike. We appreciate all that you've done, I'm back to cooking now!”

“This was not the first time we have had Gomes Design Inc services in our home but this was the biggest project. Our dated finished basement was entirely redeisgned by Isabel Gomes including floors, walls built ins and bathroom and the result surpassed our expectations. Isabel Gomes is very experienced and pleasant decorator to work with. She knew what my tastes were and made it easy for me to make choices. All questions and concerns were answered. She worked very well with our contractor and things went very smoothly. For myself and family the final outcome was amazing and we could not have done it without her. We would not change a thing.”

“We have now used this company in two full kitchen renovations in two homes we have owned. That speaks for itself in how we view the quality and workmanship of their cabinets. The salesperson we dealt with was professional and very responsive. He promptly got back to us when we called and followed up on our questions and concerns. The cabinets are excellent - their pricing isn't the lowest, but you get high quality cabinets and creative thinking in the designs. The only challenge we had with this company was their installation. The installation dragged on for far too long - with missed dates promised for installation, installers arriving and then finding that they had missing or damaged pieces, installers leaving in the middle of the day to do a bit of work on another project elsewhere. I did meet with the owner of the company to share my concerns. He listened but offered excuses rather than doing anything about their problem. Truly, this company would be a dream to work with - their sales person is great and the cabinets are beautiful - if it could get control of its installation problems. My sense is that they have taken on more work - especially with new home contractors - and exceeded their ability to effectively manage installation timelines.”
