Coastal Living House on Rhode Island bay

Inspired by the Fanny Foster House in Newport, designed by Peabody and Stearns in 1897, the Carnegie Abbey House is fronted by a broad veranda, or gallery, that supports two semi-circular loggias on the second floor, overlooking Narragansett Bay. The project was commissioned by Coastal Living Magazine and highlighted in their 2006 Idea House issue.
