The property already had the square cut flagstone, which we couldn't find and match locally at an affordable price. Instead of spending $18 a sq. foot, we incorporated random cut flagstone in the same colour range for a seamless, yet intentional addition.

This property had the limitation of a large Black Walnut tree. Black Walnuts emit a toxin that hinders the growth of many plants in its near proximity through the roots, leaves and nuts. One of these plants is the tomato plant, and we wanted those! The solution was to create raised planters where we could plant anything we wanted to.
