Updating finishes, appliances and surface elements and lighting may be all your kitchen need to enter the 21st century.

One of the most dramatic design remodeling, is opening a dated kitchen to the rest of the home. Opening the kitchen and re-purposing otherwise unused rooms can bring people together and possibly change a family dynamic.

A coffee & wine bar with extra storage was added to a previously empty corner. Bench style seating was also installed to define a cozy breakfast nook.

Before - Some things just had to go! Dated hood , pickled oak cabinetry , sink and back splash, and the 'appliance garage'.

After - New Stainless steel hood, added molding to tie cabinetry together. Fresh white paint, marble tile with terra cotta accents help bring together the terra cotta floor. Complimentary paint color - Soft bottle glass green.
