In doing this project, I had a limited budget so I used recycled furnishings that I had painted to create an eclectic, colorful space.

I selected one of my own original art pieces to add color to a windowless wall.

This tiny bathroom had a complete make over, with new shower stall, toilet and vanity/sink from Ikea. I loved the low price and the shallow profile to give more floor space to this small bathroom.

The Ikea shower curtain adds just the right amount of color and whimsy and the fabric does not require a liner.

This is a recycled arm chair that I hand painted the wooden legs and arms and had the seat and back upholstered in a tropical fabric, one day I noticed my puppy had taken a bite out of the seat. no problem...I covered the hole with Duck Tape and painted over much of the cotton upholstery including the Duck Tape. Now the cahir is even more unique!

The purple cotton upholstery on this chaise became sun faded, but i love the comfort and the style of this piece so I painted the entire thing and made a bunch of pillows, too!

How could I pass up these vintage hair dryer chairs on the loading dock at my local Goodwill store? They add just the right puch to this space and comfortable, especially for women with shorter legs! The original viyl seat covers are perfect for the beach!

Fun and functioanl space at vacation rental. Vinyl floor is easy to maintain and the color shows no sand or dirt. Open room for family gatherings with large table for dining and projects.

I filled the walls in this trailer with original art that i had created or collected over the years.

The orignal 70's kithen with fake wood paneling and ugly cabinets had to go. A few gallons of paint and primer will work wonders at a small cost in money if you are willing to put in the time!

The creepy counter top was the last thing to be replaced. Since this is a low cost renovation i chose red laminate counter. I have no idea why people scorn at laminate counters, the are affordable, come in many colors and are easy to maintain. These were custom built, as trailers have a narrower counter than regular kitchens.

That old. brass chandelier gets a new look with paint and funky shades.

The long hallway to the master bedroom and bath houses the furnace and full size washer and dryer. i kept painted over the fake wood paneling and chose a bright, white to make this space feel less like a tunnel. Not to many single wide trailers have original artwork on the walls!

The master bath was completely remodeled with new tub/shower, vanity, and tilet. The previous garden tub took a lot of floor space so it was replaced with a standard size tub. I was able to put an Ikea glass display cabinet in that extra space to hold towels and toiletries. The fun shower curtain is also from Ikea, I love that the fabric does not require an additonal liner.

I chose white paint to cover the creepy, cheap wood paneling in this bathroom. Original art adorns the walls. The Ikea storage cabinet was used for dispaly in my retail shop.

Recycled louvered closet doors were painted and nailed to the wall to create a headboard for the king size bed. This bed sepates into 2 twins if needed. A recycled 50's table makes a great night stand!

A small alcove in the bedroom allows for a tiny office space. two shelves were placed above a desk top made from left over laminate from the kitchen. A handy electric outlet is below.

Another large piece of original art sets this beach rental apart from the rest.

I spent two weeks painting the exterior of this trailer. This is a work in progress, I'll add to this every time I visit!

A bit of added light is essential in a trailer renovation. Here are the new French doors that will lead to a covered deck. ( deck is not completed)
