French Country Master Suite Renovation
Room Focal point: We repurposed the bed frame by painting it black to match the new side tables, dresser and bench seat that were purchased. I painted the walls in a warm medium off neutral to make the room cozy, reduce the cavern feel of the vaulted ceiling and provide a back drop to show off the gorgeous crystal chandelier. The existing prints worked well with the new scheme, tying together the black and cream furnishings and deeping a bit of lightness to the room.
Dramatic Master Bedroom Makeover. A room that balances Feminine details with Masculine colours making it a room both of the clients can be comfortable in.
Finishing Details make the space. Tan and Black colour scheme combined with ornate details and patterns create a space that is a balance between masculine and feminine.
Having to build out wall creates opportunity for a display niche that also helps open up the space with its mirrored back.
Master Vanity After: Antique Cream finish, applied moulding cabinets, Marble countertops. Now there is more than enough storage.
Before: French Country Master Ensuite. The client liked the cream finish but wanted to update the look and create more storage space for their vanity products.
Before: Shows the old tub deck where it met the existing shower and the existing tile detail which the client loved but was no longer available. The new French Country Ensuite was designed to have a similar feel only with natural stone and a bit more elegance in the detailing.
Elevatons for the New French Country Ensuite. There were quite a few challenges with the rooms architecture and mechanical . Having a great renovation team kept the challenges from being an obstacle and things moved ahead smoothly. For more infromation on the process please visit my website blog:
