Beach Cottage Renovation for Aging in Place

We renovated this turn of the century beach cottage inside and out for our clients' elderly mom to live in. We gutted the bathrooms and filled them with hidden safety features, updated the kitchen, added skylights and new lighting, and redesigned the exterior -- all with an eye to the resident living there through her older age. Colors are cheerful and 'beachy', furnishings are simple, comfortable, and easy to navigate, upkeep is simple.
