The Not So Big Contemporary Home

Designed by Ward-Young architect Ted Brobst, this contemporary mountain craftsman style home was the winner of the 2010 Tahoe Quarterly Mountain Home Awards in the "Outstanding" category. This 2,000 sq. ft. home has many notible green and sustainable design features that include: maximum natural daylighting, cross ventilation, passive solar site orientation, low maintenance exterior finishes, low-E glass windows, recycled paper and flyash concrete kithen counters, LED exterior lighting and a tankless hot water system.
