Adirondacks Meets Tahoe

by Ward-Young Architecture & Planning
This Adirondack inspired remodel/addition, designed by Ward-Young architects Don Fulda and Dave Bourke, is situated on Lake Tahoe and recently made the front cover of Gentry Design Magazine's Spring issue. A feature article about the rustic ecclectic mountain home follows in the magazine and describes how the owner chose to recreate an Adirondack feeling throughout the home. A tranquil outdoor stone patio with large fireplace and barbeque was added near the lake to enjoy the beautiful Lake Tahoe summers. A new Guest House/Bunkhouse was also designed and added above the home, to accomodate the homeowner's guests.
