Hill Country Guest House
by Capstone Custom Homes
This guest house was designed for a young married couple. The idea was to live in the 618 sq ft guest space above the garage for a couple years. After a couple years, the owners were going to build the main house. Well, a baby came sooner than later. The garage space was converted into two bedrooms and an office, and a barn was built towards the back of the property to house vehicles, work benches, and other garage stuff.
Living Room and Open Bedroom
Quaint Hill Country Guest House. Treat your guests to a true get-a-way at your house! This view is from the exterior porch looking into the living room. Just past the living room is the open bedroom. Everything at your fingertips.
Kitchen to Living Room
This is the view as you enter the house. There is a large panoramic sliding door that opens to an even larger panoramic porch overlooking the hill country. A great place to read the morning paper and sip coffee.
Beautiful Bathroom
We found this dresser at an antique shop. I especially liked the way the center rounded out toward the room. The hammered copper sink fits perfectly. The tile is onxy and is unique. We weren't real sure how it was going to look, and loved it once it was completed.
Guest House
The garage was converted into living space with ease. We added three walls, a small set of stairs, and mini split ac system. Love it!
