This is the dining room in a semi-detached home in the mid-west end of Toronto, probably built in 1940's, the main floor is undergoing a major change. Dining room looking through to the living room, you can see a corner of the fireplace which doesn't work and is to be removed. Since space is at a premium I'm designing some built in's that will flank what was once the chimney breast and incorporate a niche for a flat screen TV. David Hendricks

You can see in this photo that the cabinets don't go right up to the wall due to a window being in the way, we are removing this window, installing a narrower one so that we can take the cabinets right to the wall and the stove right into the corner and also the window sill will be higher to allow for the stove.
