This couple requested a space that was both stylish and child friendly. They also wanted to make their apartment feel as large as possible, despite its relatively small footprint.

Different furniture pieces and a revised floorplan vastly improved traffic flow. A new covered table pulls triple duty as a console, secret storage area, and desk for the freelancer wife. And by uniting the open dining and living areas in both palette and texture, the entire room now feels seamless and cohesive.

According to the family, their space finally feels like home, one they love coming back to each day.
