Hurondale Rd

A classic situation of purchasing one very large sofa and then feeling paralyzed as to how to furnish/decorate the rest of the room. Although a long room, it was narrow and the sofa far too deep for it. To ensure there was plenty of seating for everyone we added a recliner and a reading chair. No construction work in this room. Painting only. The owner had one request - that we do not in any way alter the fireplace. It was built by his father and he wanted it to remain untouched. We respected his wishes, however, we did paint the wall a dark russet colour to offset the fireplace. To minimize any knee bumping incidents, we added a leather rectangular ottoman instead of a traditional coffee table.
