Photomontage: The Maid's Tale Series

I have sought to recreate the sense of illusion, ephemera and mystery steeped in venerable fairy tales and often with a reference to the Brothers Grimm.
All photography is from my own portfolios or family archives.

The work is available individually or as as a series, in various sizes. Images are framed in two ways: Either suspended in a hand-painted frame with a background of imported paper or else mounted on birch panels, with gold/silver leaf finishing the panel edges. All images are over-painted with micas and/or washes of pigment.
