Mountain Laurel Street

This house is set on a small lake. When we purchased it it still had every original finish from when it was first built in the 80s on top of the smoke damage it suffered from 2 small fires that had been set in the bedrooms. We replaced everything inside and out! Roof, siding, windows (we even added more windows) deck and every interior finish. We reconfigured the kitchen to make the space function better and replaced all of the old "rustic" cedar railings with contemporary new cable railing. We replace the flooring in the main level with hand scraped natural hickory, and added warm cork flooring to the terrace level. The end result was a nice blend of modern with rustic elements.
