Before Shot:, Amazing After: Dark, inefficient and chopped up describe this before shot. The original kitchen comprised of two rooms. Some time in the past the wall between the two was opened up and when you walked in it was apparent that someone had created a hack job.

Before Shot:, Amazing After: The partial wall was a concern. Can we remove it or are we stuck with some structural supports. A quick look behind the sheet rock and it was apparent that we could make the two rooms as one without major concern. And what about that garden window, it has to go and thankfully the client agreed.

The 5" thick walnut butcher block has a 6" x 3" opening that allows the client fo do their food prep on it then drop their food scraps into it. The compost lands into a stainless steel tray that can be retrieved by pulling out the secret drawer.
